The first of three conferences exploring the physical, psychological and social benefits of singing from the Stone Age to the present day. Speakers will include Dr Evangelos Himonides, Prof Steven Mithen, Dr Katie Overy and Prof Michael Trimble. Music from The Clerks, the innovative early music vocal ensemble led by Edward Wickham, will illustrate lectures and discussions throughout the day.
