The Museum galleries are free to explore from 9:30am to 5pm Wednesday – Saturday.

Discover over 900 years of history as you enjoy our free trails, colouring and activity sheets, dressing up clothes and hands-on activities.

During school holidays, we offer an exciting programme of free family activities including hands-on making and storytelling inspired by the Museum’s collections.

Seacole Sessions for Autistic and Neurodiverse Families 

Our regular Seacole Sessions are sensory-friendly workshops designed to support autistic and neuro-diverse families.  To find out more about our craft activities and storytelling and to book your free space, please see the Museum’s Eventbrite Page.


Under 3’s and 5’s

Come and join us on the second Wednesday of each month during term-time for crafting, storytelling, singing and dancing. Sessions run for 45 minutes followed by refreshments, Paediatric First Aid advice and play. To find out more and to book your space, please visit the Museum’s Eventbrite Page.
