After the fall of Acre in 1291, the Hospitallers moved their headquarters to Limassol in Cyprus.
In this talk, Visitor Welcome Assistant Maggie Sotiriou will look at how they made their home here and utilised the production and export of sugar and sweet wine to strengthen the Order of St John before its move to Rhodes in 1310.
