Every year the Order celebrates the Feast of the Nativity of St John the Baptist on a Saturday near to 24 June. To mark this occasion at the Museum, we are opening the upstairs rooms at St John’s Gate and the Priory Church and crypt, all of which can usually only be visited on guided tours, for free-flow visits. You will be able to explore the rooms at your own pace, with stewards on hand to speak to if you wish.
It will be free to visit and there is no need to book. Just turn up and enjoy.
Please note unfortunately that there is no step-free access to the upstairs rooms at St John’s Gate or to the crypt. There is step-free access to the Priory Church.
