Chief Commissioner Clark reports that the past week has been uneventful except for the visit of Sir Herbert and Lady Perrott who left us on Saturday. They were able to see the work of the hospital in all its branches, from the taking in of a convoy of patients to the evacuation, and will be able to give a full and particular account to the Order.

My Lord,
The past week has been uneventful except for the visit
of Sir Herbert and Lady Perrott who left us on Saturday.
They were able to see the work of the hospital in all
its branches, from the taking in of a convoy of patients to the
evacuation, and will be able to give a full and particular account
to the Order.
The health of the personnel is good. Mrs. Stewart, one
of the trained Sisters proceeds home on Saturday having been
permitted to terminate her engagement as she does not feel strong
enough for the work, and the other Sister comes out to take her
place.
The accounts of the hospital, made up to the 20th inst.
as asked for by Mr. Edwards, are being forwarded today.
I have the honour to be,
Your Lordships
Obedient servant,
James Clark
