The Museum of the Order of St John cares for rich and varied collections, with a particular emphasis on decorative and fine art, and furniture from Malta. This talk will chart the development of the Museum’s Maltese collections, the fascinating individuals who donated these exquisite objects, and will highlight some of the Museum’s particular Maltese treasures.
Please note, having met in Museum Reception at 12.30pm, this talk will take place in the Malta Room, a first floor room accessed via a spiral staircase. For those who are unable to access this room, there will be a chance to hear the talk with illustrations in the Museum Galleries at 1pm.
