Since Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee in 1887, St John Ambulance has provided support at public events and celebrations relating to the British Monarchy, working to ensure that the public have a safe and enjoyable experience. When dealing with such large crowds, ambulance men and women have encountered many challenging situations, some difficult, others humorous.
