Join us for a series of descriptive talks and object handling exploring key objects in the collection. These sessions have been designed for blind and partially sighted visitors.
This month join Abigail, Curator, to explore the uniform of late-19th century St John Ambulance volunteers. Beautifully tailored and adorned with braid, fringe and tassels, these military inspired garments communicated rank and role, as well as the deep pride felt by those who wore them.
This is a free event and takes place in the Museum Galleries which have step-free access throughout. All our speakers have all been trained by VocalEyes.
